Don’t you just love a Summer wedding!

In June I had the privilege of creating some ‘finishing touches’ for a lovely bride who’s theme was ‘Vintage Pastel Colours’ at a very beautiful venue, The Dower House Hotel, in Woodhall Spa.

Our vintage ladders had their first outing, dressed in beautiful pastel colour Mason Jars with the very much on trend Baby’s Breath flowers and finished off with vintage themed ‘choose a seat any side’ bunting. This kind of wording is great for weddings where guests tend to be bride or groom heavy, it encourages people to sit together, chat and often ‘breaks the ice’ way before the Wedding Breakfast which is really handy, especially if the tables are mixed with guests too.

The ladders provided the perfect place to keep the vintage inspired, handmade doily confetti cones which held the most beautiful dried flower petals from Daisy Gifts Ltd. Dried flowers are a great alternative to traditional confetti as many venues prefer biodegradable these days plus it looks (and smells!) beautiful, making those all important confetti shots really vibrant and colourful.

The handmade wooden guestbook, with pretty pastel coloured hearts made a lovely alternative to the traditional guestbook and was a total hit with the guests. I pulled inspiration from pictures the Bride showed of guestbooks that she liked and used it to create something really unique for her. To compliment the guestbook I styled the area with matching pastel coloured Mason Jars and sign to make sure that it wasn’t missed by the guests.

If you have a theme in mind but aren’t sure where to go with it, get in touch, I’d love to help!
